Sheffield United surrendered their unbeaten record going into the international break with defeat at Charlton Athletic - with their frustration compounded by a real injury concern over Femi Seriki.
The right-back, who’s only just returned from a knee issue, came on at the break but made way minutes into the second half after falling awkwardly.
He was stretchered off, to a mixture of applause and boos from the Charlton supporters, with the hope that he has not suffered any real damage.
United had fought back from behind at Preston North End in midweek and saw their opponents seize the momentum again here, with Millenic Alli finding a way past Michael Cooper with a finish at the United ‘keeper’s near post.
But they got back on level terms when Jordan Ayew nodded home his first goal in United colours, after Will Mannion had only half-cleared Kalvin Phillips’ free-kick under pressure from a crowd of bodies.
They couldn’t see out the game, though, with Matty Godden coming off the bench to volley home the winner from close range. Here’s how we rated United’s players at The Valley...

1. Michael Cooper 5
Whether he was unsighted or caught out by the bounce only he will know but he surely won't have been happy with getting beaten at his near post from long range for Charlton's opener, although he will rightly suggest that Alli should have been closed down long before he found the bottom corner. After that he barely had a notable save to make before being beaten again by Godden's close range finish | ugc

2. Hamza Choudhury Player Ratings
Decent defending prevented Kelman testing Cooper not long before Alli's shot beat him, before he was booked after getting an aerial challenge slightly wrong. That, and the fact he was up against the lively Campbell, may have played a part in the half-time decision to replace him, with Seriki on at the break - before he made way himself | ugc

3. Japhet Tanganga 6
Finished the game as United's third right-back after Choudhury was replaced by Seriki, who then made way moments into the second half. That placed him directly in the path of the lively Campbell but he dealt with the threat well. He'd brought the Charlton man down earlier to spark penalty appeals from the home fans but he'd also won a lot of the ball as well and it would have been a travesty if he was punished | ugc

4. Liam Kitching 5
Back in the side after suspension and United looked more composed as a result, even if there will be questions asked about their defending for both of Charlton's goals. The centre-half also had a decent sight of goal soon after Ayew made it 1-1 when Mannion came to claim a corner and got caught in a crowd, but Kitching's header was tame and the Charlton' keeper recovered to claim before it bobbled closer to his goal-line. But then he was caught ball-watching as Godden scored the winner for the home side from a couple of yards out, as Kitching hesitated | ugc
