That’s the deadline
and we heard just before it slammed shut that Millwall made a late move for Luke Freeman, after already taking Oli Burke from United in this window; the deadline has now passed but deals can still go through if a deal sheet was submitted before 11pm, allowing teams extra time to get deals over the line. So the drama could continue for a few hours yet!

making a FIFTH deadline day signing by bringing in Todd Cantwell on loan from Norwich ... they’re having a REAL go at promotion this season judging by their January business

Stoke City have gone big
Stoke City have brought in Nigeria international striker Josh Maja on loan from Bordeaux as they prepare to make a promotion push in the second half of the season. The Potters are 12th in the table, level on points with United but having played two games more.
Boss Michael O’Neill said: “Josh will bring a different dimension to our attacking options and I’m really pleased that we’ve held off competition from a number of other clubs to secure him.”
Former Blade linked with another club
Dean Henderson had earlier in the day been linked with a loan move to Newcastle and Watford are now the latest club to be mentioned in connection with the former Blades loanee, who is keen to get out of Manchester United and play football for the rest of the season after growing tired of life on the Old Trafford bench.
One to keep an eye on before 11pm, perhaps, if you like to keep an eye on top former Blades...
