Parkdean’s new Celebrity Weekenders start at just £164 for three nights and include live acts, themed entertainment and plenty of nostalgia. For two adults sharing, that can work out at little more than £27 each per night
A three-night getaway with live celebrity entertainment for £164 sounds like the sort of price that normally comes with several catches, but Parkdean Resorts has just launched a run of themed weekends that start at exactly that.
Its Celebrity Weekender breaks are taking place at five holiday parks around the UK this November, with a string of three-night getaways built around everything from 80s and 90s nostalgia to boybands, girlbands and a disco aimed squarely at grown-ups.
The cheapest Parkdean weekend breaks start at £164 for three nights at Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth. That works out at just under £55 per night for the accommodation before you even factor in the entertainment.

And the line-up is surprisingly hefty. Parkdean has confirmed appearances from names including Kerry Katona, Oritsé Williams from JLS, East 17, Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, Damage, Honeyz, and Bradley McIntosh from S Club.
There are also tribute performances covering everyone from Take That and the Spice Girls to Taylor Swift, Elton John, Freddie Mercury and Lady Gaga. Some of the biggest bargains can be found among the three-night celebrity breaks at Vauxhall, where themed weekends start from £164.
There is a Boybands vs Girlbands weekend, while other dates focus on celebrity tributes and nostalgia-heavy entertainment.
Elsewhere, the Celebrity Weekender range includes a Hitman-themed break at Sandford in Dorset, with acts including Pete Waterman, Sybil, 911 and Nathan Moore from Brother Beyond.
Trecco Bay in Wales is hosting a Disco for Grown-Ups weekend, with Claire Richards from Steps, Ian 'H' Watkins, The Fizz, Gareth Gates and Dick and Dom among the names lined up.

For anyone whose musical taste is still happily stuck in the 90s, Ty Mawr in Wales has a dedicated 90s Weekender featuring names including Vernon Kay, Big Brovaz and Booty Luv, Honeyz, A1 and Artful Dodger's Mark Hill.
There is also an 80s Weekender at Cayton Bay in Yorkshire, while Vauxhall has a 90s vs 00s weekend for anyone who still can't decide which decade did pop music better.
The prices become even more interesting when you remember this is accommodation plus access to a full weekend of entertainment, rather than simply a ticket to one show.
Parkdean says its accommodation includes access to swimming and entertainment facilities as standard, alongside the usual holiday-home essentials such as heating, kitchens, bathrooms and beds made up for arrival.
There are also plenty of activities included throughout the weekends. Parkdean lists silent discos, fancy dress and Bingo GaGa among the entertainment, alongside themed activities and plenty of food and drink options around the parks.

That means the cheapest £164 getaway works out at around £54.67 per night. For two adults sharing, that headline price comes to roughly £27.33 each per night, although the final cost will depend on the accommodation and party size selected.
The full Parkdean Celebrity Weekender range includes breaks at Vauxhall, Sandford, Trecco Bay, Ty Mawr and Cayton Bay.
Parkdean says availability is limited for each themed weekend, and with three-night breaks starting well below £200, some of the cheaper options could disappear quickly.
For anyone who fancies a few nights away, a large helping of nostalgia and the chance to see some familiar faces without paying concert-weekend prices, the £164 Parkdean breaks are particularly hard to ignore.
