‘We will keep you all proud’: Heartbroken friends pay tribute to tragic South Yorkshire dad

Shane Williams, aged 24, died when he lost control of his silver Kawasaki bike and crashed into trees at the side of Long Road, Brampton-en-le Morthen, Rotherham, last Thursday morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shane, described as a loving son and father to his young daughter, suffered severe head injuries in the crash.

Tributes have been paid online, with friend Joshii Baker posting on Facebook: “We will keep you all proud and look out for your little girl.”

Emma Taylor said he would be ‘sadly missed' and Richard Norris described him as ‘such a nice lad’.

Jess Shaw recalled how Shane had once helped a fellow biker involved in a crash.

She wrote: “Such a lovely lad. He helped my cousin when she fell off her bike and landed in the stream and she couldn't get out. RIP Shane.”
