Vegetarian mince recalled over fears it may contain metal
Bags of vegetarian mince have been recalled over fears they may contain small pieces of metal.
Quorn Foods has asked customers to return any 300g packs of Quorn Meat Free Mince with a best before date of August 31, 2018 and the date code 136331, due to safety fears.
They have been promised a full refund if they return the item to the store from which it was bought.
The Food Standards Agency, which advertised the recall, said the product had only been sold at Tesco stores.
It said no other batches or different products from the manufacturer were known to be affected.
