Woman suffers serious facial injuries in robbery in Sheffield

A woman was seriously injured in a robbery in a Sheffield car park.

The 30-year-old was approached from behind by a man who attacked her and stole her bag containing her phone, cash and jewellery.

South Yorkshire Police said she was walking across the Westfield Centre car park, Westfield, when she was targeted on Tuesday, February 21.

She needed hospital treatment for facial injuries.

Her attacker was black, between 20 and 25 years old, 5ft 9ins tall and skinny.

He was wearing a dark hooded top.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
