Another man is under arrest this morning for murder following a fatal shooting in Sheffield.

The 32-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder last night over the death of 23-year-old Aseel Al-Essaie, who was shot in Sheffield last month.

Mr Al-Essaie was shot in his chest in broad daylight in Daniel Hill, Upperthorpe, on Saturday, February 18.

He was taken to hospital but could not be saved.

The waiter had just arrived for a family gathering to celebrate his twin sister's engagement when he was gunned down.

A 29-year-old man arrested on Monday suspicion of murder and a 23-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Five other people are also on bail in connection with the murder probe - one man arrested on suspicion of murder, three men arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and a woman arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.
