Streets Ahead which is gritting ‘priority routes’ for Sheffield City Council urged those venturing out to ‘drive according to the conditions and allow extra time for journeys’.
Earlier today South Yorkshire Police urged motorists not to travel and Stagecoach Supertram said: “Stay at home and do not travel unless absolutely unavoidable.”
