Men accused of two attempted murders in Sheffield following alleged shootings

A Sheffield Magistrates’ Court hearing heard on January 13 how Bradley Jenkins, aged 27, and Kai Smith, aged 18, have each been charged with two counts of attempted murder after three people were injured following reports of firearm discharges in the Manor area.
South Yorkshire Police previously stated that at around 8pm, on January 6, it was reported that shots were allegedly fired at three people - a 42-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman - who were stood outside a property on Castledale Croft, near Woodthorpe.

Hide AdThe 23-year-old man is believed to have moved to nearby Prince of Wales Road, according to police, and police received further reports of an alleged second firearm discharge at this location.
Police stated this man allegedly suffered shotgun injuries to his arms and hand and he received hospital treatement.The 42-year-old woman also received hospital treatment, according to police, and the 28-year-old woman suffered minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.
Bradey Jenkins, of Waverley View, Catcliffe, Rotherham, and Kai Smith, of Villiers Close, near Arbourthorne, Sheffield, had their case committed to Sheffield Crown Court for a further hearing on January 15.Anyone with information can call South Yorkshire Police 101 quoting incident number 790 of January 6.
