Sheffield city centre's new look is rapidly taking shape, with a new four-star hotel opening soon and a huge food hall on the way too.
A number of new shops have also opened in recent months or are on their way, both in the city centre and at Meadowhall.
Here we look at some of those which have opened over the last 12 months and some of the most eagerly anticipated new stores coming to the city soon.
They range from fashion outlets and high-end jewellers to gift shops and grocery stores.

5. Mango
The leading fashion retailer opened at Meadowhall in March 2024 as it continues its rapid expansion across the UK. Mango, which describes itself as the 'home of Mediterranean style and culture', opened in the Lower Level, High Street, at the Sheffield shopping centre. | Meadowhall

6. Tesco Express

7. Red Brick Market
Red Brick Market opened in March 2024 at a former trampoline park on Clough Road, just off Bramall Lane, on the outskirts of Sheffield city centre. Despite the name, its owner described it as an independent department store, with more than 100 booths where traders can display their wares, ranging from vintage clothes to plants and chocolates. 8. Mobile Booth
