Road re-opens after lorry smashes into Sheffield bridge close to Meadowhall

A road has re-opened after being closed yesterday when a lorry hit a bridge close to Meadowhall shopping centre.

An Eddie Stobart lorry struck a railway bridge on Meadowhall Road, close to Weedon Street, at 4.30pm yesterday.

The HGV was too high for the bridge, which is regularly struck by lorries.
