Police officers searching for a missing Sheffield man have released a CCTV image of him on the day he disappeared.

Mark Richardson, aged 49, was last seen in the Firth Park and Wincobank area of Sheffield at 9.45am last Friday.

Officers searching for him have found CCTV footage captured close to his home that morning.

He is believed to have been wearing dark blue jeans, a navy blue T-shirt with light blue writing on the front, a dark grey Regatta waterproof jacket and black Ellesse trainers.

Mr Richardson is white, aged around 49 years old, 5ft 9ins tall and of a medium build with short, mousey brown hair and a beard.

He has ear piercings and tattoos on his arm, including one of a devil.

Mr Richardson is known to enjoy bus trips to the Grindleford area of Derbyshire.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident 711 of May 4.
