Police and fire engines rush to Sheffield street after cyclist knocked over in car crash

Emergency services were deployed to a Sheffield street after a collision involving a car and cyclist.

The crash on Meadow Street, Upperthorpe, was reported just after 2pm yesterday.

Two fire engines were deployed to the scene as well as police officers and paramedics.

The incident blocked the road temporarily while checks were made on those involved and enquiries were carried out at the crash scene to help establish what happened.
