Pedestrian critical after collision on pelican crossing in Sheffield

A pedestrian injured in a collision on a pelican crossing in Sheffield remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The 24-year-old man was involved in a collision with a blue Suzuki Jimny on the pelican crossing at the junction of London Road and St Mary’s Gate at 3.04pm on Sunday.

Police officers investigating the incident want to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time and has dash cam footage.

Call 101 and quote incident number 491 of March 14.
