Fire engine involved in crash in Sheffield

An investigation is under way into a collision in Sheffield involving a fire engine.

The engine came to rest in a garden on High Street, Mosborough, after hitting a wall and lamppost.

A car was also destroyed in last night’s collision, with debris from the vehicle left strewn across the road.

The front end of the car appeared to have suffered most damage.

Details of the circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been released by South Yorkshire Police or South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
