Delays are building in the area

Drivers are being hit with significant delays this morning, following a crash on the M1 southbound in Rotherham.

The crash site is at Junction 32 in Brampton-en-le-Morthern, Rotherham, near to the turn off for the M18.

A car with substantial damage to its front-end could be seen at the crash site a few moments ago.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue are currently on the scene.

Traffic is building in the area, up to the roundabout for Aston Bypass and Worksop Road, in the aftermath of the crash.

Representatives for the emergency services have been contacted for more information.
