Six fire crews were called out to a large fire at a warehouse unit at 11.55pm last night at Parkwood Business Park, Parkwood Road, Neepsend.
Three crews are still on the site, damping down the flames and expect to be there for some time and are urging people to stay away from the scene.
The cause it not yet known.
The blaze happened at the Ancient Wisdom warehouse on the industrial estate.
The firm has this morning placed a notice on its website.
It states: “There was a fire incident in our main warehouse in Sheffield which will cause disruption on all orders. We will update you as soon as we know more information. We apologise for any disruption to your business at this difficult time.
It added: “All Showroom appointments have been cancelled until further notice. Our apologies for any inconvenience .
“All collections have been suspended, please contact our customer service team for more information.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
The Star has contacted the firm for comment.
Ancient Wisdom sell wholesale to gift shops, such hand-crafted items directly from India, Indonesia and China. It also manufactures aromatherapy, home fragrance Iitems and bathroom gifts at its own UK factory.
The current fire is opposite the site of the Arthur’s Skips fire which broke out on May 28. The firm was quickly back in business.
