WOODTHORPE MURDER: Police hunt for killer continues after man is stabbed to death in Sheffield

Jordan Marples-Douglas, aged 23, suffered multiple stab wounds in an attack in a property on Woodthorpe Road, Woodthorpe, at around 8.10pm on Friday, March 6.

No arrests have yet been made.

Detective Inspector Scott Harrison, investigating the murder, said it had ‘sent shockwaves through an entire community and across the city more widely’.

The crime scene was cordoned off all weekend and there was a huge police presence in Woodthorpe as officers attempted to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Door-to-door enquiries were carried out and officers appealed for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious to come forward.

They are looking for residents with CCTV cameras installed at their homes and motorists with dash cams who were in the area on the night of the stabbing.
