Woodhouse shooting: Everything we know so far after two men shot on Sheffield street

A police probe is continuing today into a shooting in Sheffield in which two men were injured.

The men were found with gunshot injuries in Ashpool Close, Woodhouse, at around 10.40pm on Friday, March 5.

Their injuries are not deemed life threatening.

Over the weekend, blood stains could be seen on the ground and wall outside one of the house in the street where the injured men were found.

No arrests have yet been made over the incident.

Police patrols were stepped up over the weekend and there was a heightened police presence as officers carried out door-to-door enquiries in a bid to piece together exactly what happened.

Detectives also issued an appeal for anyone with CCTV footage to come forward.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 1,054 of March 5.
