A woman on a night out in Sheffield city centre was captured on video hurling racist abuse at a man.

The woman was filmed on a mobile phone during an altercation with a man outside Yates in Barker’s Pool.

She can be heard calling the man a ‘f****** P***’ as she faces the camera.

The man who captured the abuse warned her ‘you are going to be famous now, you are going to be famous’ before she replies ‘my bloke’s a P***’.

An onlooker can be heard describing the incident as ‘racist’.

The video footage has been shared widely on social media.

Sheffield councillor Maroof Raouf, who represents the Green Party in Nether Edge and Sharrow, has tweeted about the incident.

He has asked South Yorkshire Police if the force intends to investigate.

He posted: “Just outside Yates Sheffield this weekend, another racist incident in Sheffield.

“South Yorkshire Police are you planning on doing anything about this racist clown?”
