Third man due at court over shootings on Sheffield estate

A third man is due at court today over two shootings on a Sheffield estate in the space of an hour.

Connor Hadi, aged 27, of Toll Bar Avenue, Arbourthorne, is due at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of attempted murder after two gun attacks on the Manor estate on Wednesday, January 6.

Two women, aged 42 and 28, and 23-year-old man, were stood outside a property on Castledale Croft at 8pm that evening when a gun was fired at them.

The man fled on foot to nearby Prince of Wales Road, where there was a second shooting.

The man, who suffered shotgun injuries to his arms and hand, is believed to have been targeted.

He was taken to hospital with the 42-year-old woman for treatment.

The 28-year-old woman suffered minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.

Last week, Bradley Jenkins, 27, of Waverley View, Catcliffe and Kai Smith, 18, of Villiers Close, Arbourthorne, were also charged with attempted murder.
