Teenage boy discharged from hospital after shooting in Sheffield

A teenage boy injured in a double shooting in Sheffield has been discharged from hospital.

The 16-year-old was sat in a car in Thirlwell Road, Heeley, when he was shot at in the early hours of Saturday, February 29.

He underwent surgery and spent most of last week in hospital but has since been discharged.

A 30-year-old man who was also in the car was also shot, but less seriously.

He was later arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and drink driving.
