A pile of rubbish was set alight in a park on Littleworth Lane, Monk Bretton, Barnsley, just before 11.30pm and just after midnight crews from Barnsley dealt with a coach fire on Longfields Road, Athersley, which is thought to have been started deliberately.

Sheffield firefighters dealt with an early morning arson attack today after a wheelie bin was set alight close to a children’s centre on Norton Avenue, Gleadless.
