CCTV shows how a Doncaster predator checked into a Sheffield hotel alone to avoid being challenged before bringing his teenage victim so he could abuse her.

Shoaib Mohammed, of Kentmere Drive, was jailed for 11 years this week after contacting the schoolgirl on Snapchat in 2021, when she was 14-years-old.

He groomed her before securing a series of hotel rooms in Sheffield so he could abuse her over the course of several days, and even abandoned her alone for hours so he could return to his home life between offences.

This CCTV evidence released by Leicestershire Police shows how he checked into the first two hotels alone, before taking the victim inside. There were also witness accounts that other hotels had challenged him about booking a room with someone of the victim’s age.
