Met Office issues yellow fog warning as drivers urged to make slower journeys
Visibility could be below 100 metres in places
Motorists are warned of potentially dangerous driving conditions as the Met Office has issued a yellow fog warning covering all of South Yorkshire.
Drivers are being urged to slow down and expect longer journey times.

Slower journeys by buses and trains should also be expected.
A yellow fog warning means the fog will be dense in places with visibility below 100 metres at times.
The weather service says that the fog will slowly begin to thin, lift and clear later this morning or, in some spots, not until this afternoon.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, leaving extra journey time, or amending plans if necessary.
“Make sure you know how to switch on your fog lights, and check they are working before setting off on your journey.
“Bus and train services, as well as flights and ferry travel may also be affected; check for updates from your travel company and follow their advice.
“Be prepared for weather warnings to change: when a weather warning is issued, the Met Office recommends staying up to date with the weather forecast in your area.”
