Marcus Ramone Ramsay, aged 35, was knifed in an attack at a house party on Horninglow Road, Firth Park, in the early hours of Saturday, August 8.

South Yorkshire Police said the dad-of two was injured in an incident of ‘large scale disorder’.

Four other men, aged 24, were also injured but survived.

At the inquest opening, held at the Medico Legal Centre, Sheffield, it was revealed that Mr Ramsay died of a stab wound to his chest.

The inquest was adjourned for more enquiries to be carried out.
