Police to patrol Sheffield park after woman, 21, raped

The 21-year-old was subjected to a sex attack by four men in High Hazels Park, Darnall, at around 6pm on Monday, November 23.

Two of the men involved were Eastern European and aged between 18 and 20.

The other two were Asian, with one around 18, but the other young man’s age is unknown.

Detective Inspector Ben Wood said: “I understand that news of this incident is likely to cause distress and concern among the local community and it is obviously of the utmost importance we identify those involved as soon as possible.“There will be heightened patrols in the area from uniform officers to provide reassurance.”

Anyone with information on the sex attack should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident 814 of November 24.
