Court hearing for twin brothers accused of New Year's Day murder in Sheffield
Two brothers accused of murdering a Sheffield man have their case listed at court today.
Jacob and Isaac Mwanza, both 19 and of Rother View Road, Canklow, Rotherham, have their case listed for ‘mention’ at Sheffield Crown Court.
The brothers are charged with the murder of 18-year-old Isaiah Usen-Satchell, who was stabbed to death in Sheffield the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Isaiah, who was a twin himself, was knifed when violence flared on St Aiden’s Road, close to his Norfolk Park home.
He suffered serious injuries to his arms during the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment but a slash wound to his wrist proved fatal.
The Mwanza brothers are currently remanded in custody.
Two other men, aged 20 and 22, who were also arrested over the stabbing, remain on bail.
Isaiah, who was a university student in Leeds, was killed in Sheffield on his Christmas break.
