Police probe into double stabbing as men are found with knife wounds after Sheffield crash

South Yorkshire Police said emergency services were deployed to Gleadless Road, Gleadless, at around 7.30pm yesterday to reports of a stabbing.
It is reported that a black Vauxhall Astra had deliberately collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa, causing the Corsa to leave the road.

Hide AdThe two occupants of the Corsa – men aged 19 and 20 – were found nearby with stab wounds.
Both were transported to hospital but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives investigating the incident are searching for the Astra involved in the crash and its occupants.
No arrests have yet been made over the incident, which resulted in Gleadless Road being sealed off and under police guard last night while enquiries were carried out at the crime scene.

Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to Gleadless Road by Yorkshire Ambulance Service shortly after 7.30pm yesterday, to reports that a man had been stabbed.
“Early enquiries suggest that a black Vauxhall Astra had deliberately collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa, causing it to leave the road. The two occupants of the Corsa, aged 19 and 20, were both found nearby with stab wounds.
“Both were transported to hospital. Neither man’s injuries are believed to be life threatening.
“The Astra did not stop at the scene and detectives are working hard today to trace the vehicle and its occupants.”
