A police probe into a stabbing in Sheffield on New Year’s Eve, which left a man fighting for life, is continuing.

A 27-year-old man was seriously injured in an attack close to the Wagon and Horses pub in Chapeltown at around 8.25pm on Monday, December 31.

Four men have been arrested so far but charges have not yet been brought.

Two 19-year-old men have been released on bail pending further enquiries and 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth have been released under investigation.
