Police operation in Shiregreen sees officers take cannabis, Class A drugs and knives off Sheffield's streets
More than 58,000 cigarettes were also seized
Police descended on a number of Sheffield communities this week in an effort to remove illegal goods from the streets.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, September 8 and 9, officers focused their efforts on Firth Park, Shiregreen and Wincobank areas as part of Operation Steel.

In their work to tackle drug supply and anti-social behaviour, police made seven arrests and seized large quantities of cannabis and suspected Class A substances, as well as two knives and a taser.
They also used intelligence submitted from the community to collaborate with Trading Standards.
Together, they visited four stores and seized more than 58,000 cigarettes, over five kilograms of rolling tobacco and 1,000 vapes.
An early morning warrant at a property on Merton Road also uncovered a substantial cannabis set-up resulting in one arrest.

Speed watch sites, and traffic stops, saw 32 speeding offences identified, six vehicles seized and six offence reports handed out.
Work with Sheffield City Council's Parking Services and Environment Enforcement teams resulted in 18 fixed penalty notices handed out.
Inspector Alec Gibbons, from Sheffield North East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "This week's operation has produced some positive results, and we will continue to develop our intelligence picture to ensure that when we can take action, we will.
“You are an integral part of that process. If you know something or are concerned that criminality in any form is happening where you live, report it to us.
“You can do so online or by calling 101. If you don’t want to speak to police, report to Crimestoppers who can guarantee your anonymity.”
