Police chase driver of stolen car before he ‘puts lives at risk doing the unthinkable’
A police pursuit ended with the driver doing ‘the unthinkable’ and ploughing through a closed level crossing.

This Volkswagen Passat was stolen on Saturday night in South Yorkshire and police gave chase when it was later spotted in the Humberside area.
Humber Roads Police said that after a short pursuit the driver ‘does the unthinkable and drives through a closed railway crossing, putting lives at risk’.
Police were forced to abort the pursuit and the vehicle was later found abandoned.
