Complaints from members of the public have risen, with drug abuse, fights and anti-social behaviour all logged.

Last month a video was shared on social media showing a teenage boy brandishing a machete and attempting to stab another youth outside the park.

That same day there was a stabbing in the park, with both incidents said to have been linked to an unlicensed music event held there.

The main gates, off Rustlings Road, have been locked until further notice in a bid to stop nuisance off-road bikes entering the park.
