No arrests made but ‘enquiries ongoing’ after girl, 16, assaulted by teenagers in Sheffield
A police investigation is continuing today after a girl, aged 16, was assaulted in a Sheffield park.
South Yorkshire Police was alerted to the incident in Ecclesfield Park at around 7pm on Saturday, May 1.
The force said it was reported that the youngster was ‘assaulted by a group of teenage girls of the same age’.
She was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
No arrests have yet been made over the incident.
