Motorists issued with Easter bank holiday parking warning in Sheffield

A warning has been issued to motorists heading to Sheffield beauty spots this weekend.

Highways England published two photographs today showing cars parked along the A616 at Langsett, on the edge of Sheffield, warning that parking along verges or in lay-bys poses a danger.

In a tweet, Highways England said: “If you’re visiting the A616 at Langsett please ensure you park responsibly using the designated car parks or turn back if they are full.
