Abbeydale Road in Sheffield closed in both directions

A busy road in Sheffield is closed in both directions this morning due to a blaze.

Abbeydale Road has been blocked off while firefighters deal with a lorry fire near to Tesco.

The incident was reported to South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue at around 9.45am.

Bus company First South Yorkshire said its number 97 and 98 services are being diverting via Archer Rd in both directions.

No injuries have been reported.

South Yorkshire Police has been contacted for details as traffic in the area begins to build.
