Missing Rotherham woman, 79, found after police search

A woman whose disappearance sparked a police search has been found safe.
The 79-year-old, named only as Shirley, disappeared after she was last seen at a shop at the crossroads of Kimberworth Road, Wilton Lane and Wilton Gardens, in Kimberworth, at about 9.10am on Thursday, July 26.
As the hours passed, concern for Shirley’s welfare mounted and South Yorkshire Police circulated her photograph and description as they urged anyone with possible sightings to get in touch.

The force confirmed this morning that she has been found safe.
