“A very dynamic and highly visible forced entry took 32 seconds. Once inside, we found a very extensive and professional cannabis grow utilising all the floor space of this deserted former shop. The wiring was very dangerous and the electricity was bypassed. Tradecraft was evident as we found false walls, heat insulation and false window lighting. This was organised crime group work.”

Two men were arrested. Officers said they also seized bagged cannabis and mature cannabis plants with a street value over £300,000.
