The picture shows one of the officers standing next to the plants, to demonstrate the size they had reached.

The raid was carried out with a warrant at 9.30am yesterday (October 14).

A force spokesman said: “Inside they located a male and around 20 cannabis plants that were being grown inside the address. The male was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity.”

The man has now been released under investigation whilst police enquiries continue.
