DCI Henderson said: “Our investigations into each of the incidents are very much ongoing. I have dedicated teams of officers working extremely hard to identify those responsible and develop the lines of enquiry we have. “We are continuing to carry out proactive operations linked to these investigations, including warrants at various addresses – with the aim of disrupting the organised criminality that we believe is fuelling such violent incidents.“I completely understand that what we have seen in recent weeks on our streets has been unsettling and upsetting for our communities. I want you to be reassured that we are taking action and I am confident we will continue to see arrests and charges linked to these incidents.”
