A 25-year-old Sheffield man arrested suspicion of murder on Tuesday remains in police custody today.

The police cordon around the crime scene has now been removed but there is still an increased police presence in Woodthorpe to reassure residents of their safety in the wake of the knife attack.

Anyone with information about the murder should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 856 of March 6.
