'Dangerous' Sheffield driver charged on suspicion of crashing into three police cars

Officers have charged a Sheffield man with dangerous driving after he allegedly crashed into three police cars and a resident’s vehicle on Bramall Lane.

The five-car collision occurred in October and a 35-year-old man has been charged on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing damage to multiple vehicles and injury to people involved.

He was arrested at the time of the crash on Bramall Lane and bailed pending a file submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service.

The 35-year-old driver will appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court next year.
