Boy injured in Sheffield horror crash turns 13 in hospital as he fights for life

A boy left fighting for life in a collision in Sheffield has turned 13 while in hospital.

The youngster suffered life threatening injuries in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Insignia on Norton Avenue, Gleadless, at 6.10pm on Wednesday, October 28.

He was airlifted to hospital after emergency services responded to calls about the incident, which occurred near to the Valley Park Family Centre.
