Body found in search for missing Sheffield man

Matthew Range, 54, was last seen at his home in Walkley at 10.30pm on Friday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said this afternoon that officers had found what is believed to be Mr Range’s body.

The spokesperson added: “Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Matthew’s family have been notified and are receiving support.”

The force thanked people for sharing an earlier appeal to try and find Mr Range.
