These fantastic pups are waiting patiently in South Yorkshire for someone to scoop them up, and this week they include some of the UK’s best loved breeds.
How about Lokei and Toby, a pair of terriers with a very special bond - Lokei is almost completely blind, but Toby is glued to his side and looks after him every day!
Maybe you can help them get out and enjoy the world together?
Or how about Freddie, a Norfolk Terrier who needs a retirement home of his own. He’s a very affectionate boy and loves being the centre of attention even in his golden years. Can you offer him a slower pace of life?
Or there’s Jerry the beagle - a “very greedy” boy on a diet who cannot be left alone in the kitchen. But he is a sweet and affectionate boy with plenty of Beagle character!
Each of the pictures below comes with a link to their adoption page at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary - could you offer any of them a home?
In the meantime, enjoy these 16 marvellous pups looking for a forever home.

5. Toby the "terrific little terrier" - look at those ears!
"Toby is a terrific little terrier – he is an happy little chap who enjoys long walks. He would suit an active home, who know the breed and their quirks. He has been good with other dogs here but was not compatible to live with a male in his last home, so would prefer to be the only dog but with plenty of friends. Toby could live with teens+ (will accept younger visitors once settled) He really enjoys his food! especially chicken." - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/toby/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

6. Tank the French Bulldog, "a very friendly, sociable boy"
"Tank is a handsome French Bulldog looking for an experienced breed savvy home. He has only recently come into our care via the stray kennels so is still under assessment to get to know him better – but he already proven to be a very friendly and sociable boy! As he’s is recovering from his BOAS surgery he would be best to be the only dog, but could live with children 14+." - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/tank/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

7. Caramel the Chihuahua x Pug - help her overcome her frustration on leads and welcome her onto your lap
"Sadly Caramel has been returned into our care after being adopted for 2 years. She is a sweet little girl who has had so much upheaval in her short life – despite being small Caramel is easily frustrated when exercising on lead and can be reactive if she is overwhelmed. She interacts well with dogs once introduced, so would really thrive from adopters that have an understanding of lead frustration / willing to support Caramel with this. She is incredibly loving once she has a bond with you and loves to be close to you, ideally on your lap! she is house trained, crate trained and can be left for several hours. She could live with children aged 12+ and could be introduced to younger visitors." - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/caramel/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

8. Keeva the heterochromia crossbreed - that means she has two differently coloured eyes!
"Keeva is a young, fun girl who has already had multiple homes in her short life. She arrived having had a big knock in her confidence, but has really thrived in our care meeting new people and having fun with her doggy friends! she would love to live with another dog, but could live alone providing she has regular friends. She walks nicely on the lead and could walk for miles. She is house trained and travels well in the car (perfect for adventures) Keeva is best suited to an adult environment." - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/keeva/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
