13. Meet Mylo the Patterdale, an older boy who loves attention
"Mylo is an older Patterdale who has come into our care following the very sad passing of his owner. Mylo has come into our care with a few medical concerns involving his eyes, ears and skin, which are currently being investigated and managed with the support of our veterinary team. Therefore, he is looking for a home nearby to the sanctuary that are confident in administering medication and committed to his ongoing care. Despite everything he has been through, Mylo is an incredibly affectionate boy who absolutely loves attention. He still enjoys getting out for a decent walk and is ready to show that age certainly hasn’t stopped him enjoying life. 14. William the Maltese x Bichon who would "thrive in confident hands"
"William is a pleasant young boy, who is enjoying all of the exposure and socialising now he is under Thornberry care. We are looking for his new family to continue building his confidence in new places, and with dogs. William has had little socialisation with other dogs so would thrive in confident hands that are committed to helping build his social skills, starting with safe similar sized dogs. "This duo are very special, as Border Lokei is mostly blind. This beautiful boy does not struggle however does really gain support from Toby. The pair have a special bond and we are only looking for them to be rehomed together. "Freddie is a lovely older boy who is looking for a calm and peaceful retirement home where he can enjoy his golden years. Sadly, Freddie’s owner passed away, and he is now looking for a new family to give him the love and security he deserves. He is a very affectionate boy who loves nothing more than being close to his handlers and receiving plenty of attention. Freddie has always been the only pet in his home, so he would ideally like to continue being the centre of attention. He could, however, enjoy having some doggy friends to meet and walk with while out and about. Due to his age and nature, Freddie would benefit from a quiet, settled home where he can relax and enjoy a slower pace of life.
