What a gorgeous bunch we have in this week’s line up of dogs looking for a new home at South Yorkshire’s Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.
Have you ever seen a husky crossed with a poodle? The result is Keeva, an astounding pup with the most unique face - she loves other dogs and her favourite people - can you help her get over her initial nerves?
There’s also Heidi, a squishy Dachshund x Terrier cross who at nine years young is looking for a fresh start. She thrives on attention and loves a good belly rub.
Or maybe you have room for not one but two fabulous pups in your home? Tom and Jerry are a bonded Jack Russell Terrier and Beagle duo with a special connection who were tragically found tied to a tree together. Who will take in this unlikely pair and give them the live together they deserve?
Take a look at our gallery below, where you’ll also find a link to each dog’s adoption page with Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

9. Graham the Boston Terrier, a "a real people dog who loves to be with you"
"Graham arrived as an unclaimed stray, so we are unable to say what this little chap has experienced. He has shown signs of separation anxiety – he’s a real people dog and loves to be with you! Graham has shown some reactivity to other dogs, however has made progress with dogs of a similar size – he would benefit from some on going training / socialising classes, as he’s so bright and capable to learn how to be ‘a bit more polite!’ He would thrive in a home that are knowledgeable about the breed. He could be introduced to children 12+ that are dog savvy." - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/graham/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

10. Poppy the Labrador x Collie who would make "a wonderful family pet"
"Poppy arrived into our care after her owner sadly passed away. She is a very happy girl, always pleased to see us and would make a wonderful family pet. She can be strong on the lead, which is improving more and more – she enjoys lovely long walks with our dog walkers. She is comfortable passing other dogs but does not like too much fuss, so would be best suited as the only pet with walking friends. She could live with teens+" - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/poppy/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

11. Toby the "terrific little terrier" - look at those ears!
"Toby is a terrific little terrier – he is an happy little chap who enjoys long walks. He would suit an active home, who know the breed and their quirks. He has been good with other dogs here but was not compatible to live with a male in his last home, so would prefer to be the only dog but with plenty of friends. Toby could live with teens+ (will accept younger visitors once settled) He really enjoys his food! especially chicken." - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/toby/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

12. Duke the gentle giant greyhound
"Duke is an incredibly affectionate boy who would lean against you all day given the chance. He’s very typical of the breed and will mostly be found upside down in his bed! Duke is very playful and loves toys! He is a real gentle giant and will make the perfect member of a sighthound loving family. He is clean in his kennel and walks nicely on the lead. Duke is good with other dogs on walks but would prefer to be a solo dog with all the attention to himself. He could live with children aged 10+" - https://www.thornberryanimalsanctuary.org/animals/duke/ | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
