The top 10-rated Sheffield restaurants which are still open for takeaways

Thankfully, some of Sheffield’s best restaurants are still offering takeaway and delivery services so you can continue to enjoy their much-loved dishes during lockdown.

Below are the city’s 10 top rated restaurants, according to TripAdvisor, and details of whether they’re still operating and if so how to order.

This Ecclesall Road bistro, which shot to the top of TripAdvisor’s rankings despite only recently launching, remains open for collections and deliveries.

It is trading on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 10pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 9pm, when it is still serving up its popular Sunday roasts.

Customers are advised to pre-order to avoid disappointment, and delivery is only available to S1, S7, S8, S10, S11 and S17 postcodes.

ENVER’S CAFE & GRILL

This family-run Turkish restaurant on Handsworth Road, serving kebabs, mezes and other traditional treats, is offering a takeaway service on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 8.30pm, with bookable slots for collection only.

NAPOLI CENTRO PIZZERIA

The Glossop Road pizzeria reopened on Wednesday, April 22 and you can now order via Deliveroo between 6pm and 9pm.

REVOLUTION

This city centre bar on Fitzwilliam Street, with its popular brunch and burger menus, is closed due to COVID-19 and is not serving takeaways. But its website says it is still accepting enquiries for future bookings.

This Chesterfield Road cafe, serving dishes including chunky beef chilli, scotch egg of the week and tandoori chicken burger, is closed until further notice with no takeaway or delivery service available.

After taking the decision to close in March, the team used their leftover produce to make soups which they delivered to elderly and vulnerable people in the community.

OLIVE RESTAURANT

This family-run Mediterranean restaurant on Ecclesall Road, close to Endcliffe Park, has been closed since mid-March and is not advertising a takeaway or delivery service.

Announcing the closure, the restaurant thanked the loyal customers who have supported it over the past two years and said ‘things will get better soon and we will back’.

EDO SUSHI

This Japanese restaurant at High Court Chambers in Sheffield city centre re-opened for contactless delivery and collection on April 10.

You can order via its own app, Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

RAFTERS

This Sheffield institution in Nether Green is sadly closed for now due to COVID-19.

Although it says it has been inundated with requests for a takeaway service, it says ‘we do not see this as essential’ which is why it has closed all aspects of the business ‘until further guidance is updated’.

In the meantime, it continues to share mouth-watering photos and recipes from its chefs via its Facebook page.

NA PEDRA

This Portuguese restaurant on Abbeydale Road quickly won a place in food-lovers’ hearts after opening three years ago.

It has been closed since mid-March and is not advertising a takeaway service but said ‘we look forward to welcoming you all back when the coast is clear’.

CAFFE MASSARELLA

This long-running cafe with branches at Meadowhall shopping centre and Atkinson’s department store in Sheffield city centre is closed due to COVID-19 and is not advertising a takeaway or delivery service.
