“We can’t think of a better way to welcome our new customers, than with 1,000 free Whopper or Chicken Royale burgers! Make sure that you get down here nice and early, as the offer is first-come-first-served!”

The launch comes after a 14-month wait to be connected to a power supply, according to Patrick Herbert, director at developer Jaguar Estates.

It will be the chain’s third drive-thru in Sheffield and seventh overall. Current restaurants include Fargate in Sheffield city centre, Parkway Retail Park, Valley Centertainment, Broughton - both drive thrus - Sheffield Midland Railway Station,  Leppings Lane and Woodall Service Area on the M1.
