They are the people who are working tirelessly around the clock to keep our National Health Service – and our country – running and every single one of them cannot be praised enough.
We are celebrating our key worker heroes, and we’ve asked you to highlight the brave individuals and teams you know who are working on the frontline.
Here’s a lineup of some Sheffield #healthheroes we should all applaud.
We’ve had an overwhelming response, so if we missed your nominee out, we’ll try to give them the shout out they deserve in the days to come.
Click through our picture gallery to see if you can spot yourself or somebody you may know – and don’t forget to show your appreciation for all our key workers at 8pm today by taking part in the nationwide #clapforourcarers.
